炒豆も蒔いて笑み咲く節分かな

– i had a chat with my friend about ‘Setsubun’
[節分:the day before a change in seasons] 
– over a cup of greentea and parched beans
– he said ‘oh, anyway, you know,
– if once we roast beans …
– the parched beans never put forth sprouts.’
– i said ‘oh, really? i don’t thinks so.
– we go to the lively and animated bean-throwing ceremony.
– perhaps they are in flowers in the Kitno Tenman-Gu shrine
– and our stomachs after that. ‘   

いりまめも まいてえみさく せちぶかな
