[紫蘇:beefsteak plant]
– are used extensively
– as the eatable flavoring/coloring agent
– and as the sterilizer
– for Japanese traditional foods
– for that purpose
– people tear off the leaves off their stems
– then they part from each other
– in making the strong odors   

においたて しそがくきばの わかれかな
