– at the discretion of their ‘grand’-ceremony masters

– i have suffered from the heat
– so i feel ill, i don’t fell like eating at all
– lie down all day long these days
– and i fall in and out of sleep between futons
– when being under those off color
– the woodgraining of ceiling board
– looks increasingly some hideousness

straw hats have already been out of season
frogs have dissapeared from the paddy by now
for all that, i am waiting for breaking up for the summer again
　
that unmarried young instructress like a sister is not now
that young beautiful mistress has passed into my sweet memories
even so, i am waiting for breaking up for the summer even now
　
while the holiday period
i kept my picture diary, then i became a journalist and an artist
we used to buy sparklers for family members’ fireworking in evening
i waited eagerly for breaking up for the summer then
　
where had the dragonfly that i caught in the field gone?
i let it get away and released it in the blue sky again that time
i waited for breaking up for the summer after that alone
　
throughout the summer vacation
i ate the cut out of watermelon that my late mother carved
i became a waterer in my family, you know?
sunflowers, evening showers, the buzzing of cicadas
