海豹 雪間草 春の雨 卒業

海豹や片手を振りて日向かな

葉隠に艶を湛へて雪間草

雨垂れや軒端透かして春の雨

卒業の答辞を述ぶも無職にて

あざらしや　かたてをふって　ひなたかな  

はがくれに　あでをたたえて　ゆきまぐさ  

あまだれや　のきばすかして　はるのあめ  

そつぎょうの　とうじをのぶも　むしょくにて

~ leaves are filling with water
~ between their own
~ in the slosh

~ raindrops fall from the soffits of eaves
~ and i looks that
~ spring drizzle comes softly over them

~ a delegate of alumini and alumunae
~ who is also looking out for an opening
~ gives the address in reply at the graduation
